Get to Know Me
My name is Olivia King, and I have just finished my third-year at the University of Winchester studying media and communications where I achieved a 2:1.
I've been interested in photography and media for many years (taking it for A levels.)
I love using all types of cameras (digitals and Polaroids) and have a good eye for composition and lighting.
I've had some working experience working as a photographer at a water park. This work built my confidence with photography and gave me endless opportunities to be social.
I started a volunteer role at Naomi House& JacksPlace early this year, which also involves photography and contributing to their social media page.

Digital Camera ( Cannon IXUS 82)
For 2024 , I wanted a small digital camera to document university memories with a sense of place. Here are some that I've taken so far:
"A fever dream"
I've been working with the sepia filter ever since I bought my cannon digital camera. I love the tones and shadows it produces. I wanted to see if I can use lighting and mirroring to create a blurry yet whimsical piece with the filter. I called this piece "fever dream" because I think visually it reveals aspects of an utopian fantasy with the choice of clothing , shadows and facial expressions.
